"Bay Area Focus with Susan Sikora" is one of very few locally produced TV talk shows in the San Francisco Bay Area. This one-on-one interview format, hosted by EMMY winner Susan Sikora, airs Sunday mornings at 8 a.m. on The CW 44cable12 (KBCW-TV) throughout Northern California. The show features in-depth conversations with visiting celebrities and newsmakers, local artists, experts, politicians, and community leaders. In addition, it highlights the Bay Area's numerous non-profit organizations, activities and community events, and addresses the gamut of regional and local issues and concerns dealing with education, housing, politics, and transportation.

July 18: Bay Area actor/ comedian Danny Hoyle tells us what it took to put his new solo show "The Real Americans" together and describes who "real Americans" are, Actress/author Jessica Porter touts the value of a macrobiotic diet and laughter, and Executive Director of the SF Jewish Film Festival Peter Stein gives us a preview of this year's event and explains how their films attempt to dispel stereotypes and bring people of all cultures together.

July 25: David Kirkpatrick, Journalist; Author, The Facebook Effect discusses the impact and attraction of one of the most popular social networking tools of the day, plus Carol Fleming with The Commonwealth Club of California tells us how her non-profit volunteer group will be addressing the state of the women's movement in their upcoming August Ascent of Women Series.

Aug 1: Dr. Carol McClellend the Founder and Executive Director of Green Career Central, an online green career resource center for professionals, students, and career counselors discussed job opporunities in what she called the green econoomy and Kiska Icard, Executive Director of the Sonoma Humane Society offers tips and advice for caring for our pets during the hot summer months.

Aug 15: UC Berkeley Prof Raj Patel, author of the Value of Nothing, shares his take on the over consumption of Americans, underscoring the need to cut back and conserve, plus the Exec. Dir. of the ,Bay Area based Sustainable World Coalition Vinit Allen offers ways in which we can all help to heal our environment

Aug 22: Dr. Rick Phillips with Safe Schools Ambassadors offers advice on how we can keep our kids from being bullied at school this year, plus Elaine Taylor with the Taylor Family Foundation and OpenRoadTV founder Doug McConnell tell us how their upcoming Day in the Park benefits children with life threatening illness, Bay Area Psychologist Dr. Brenda Wade tells us how money affects relationships.

Aug 29: Exec. Dir. of the Mineta Transportation Institute Rod Diridon gives us an update on high speed rail in California, and discusses career opportunities in transportation management, and the Exec. Dir. of the upcoming Sausalito Arts Festival tells us how this event benefits Marin non-profits.

Sikora hosted daily, live TV talk shows in several top 10 markets: New Jersey's "In Your Corner" and "Consumer Line" (PBS), and Boston's Morning, Live (CBS). A New Jersey native, she hosted nationally-syndicated programs at both NBC and ABC Network Radio. Sikora returned to the Bay Area to host KGO TV's daily, live, talk show "Good Morning Bay Area." She also hosted a call-in program for KGO Radio and was the consumer contributor on KPIX-TV's original Evening Magazine. Susan Sikora resides in Marin County with her husband Skip, and their two "catkids" Oliver and Scarlett.
