What is The Podsquad? Three Interns with one mission: "to put YOU on TV". Since the summer of 2006, the CW Podsquad has put over 10,000 people on the CW!

Every week the CW Podsquad combs the streets of the Bay Area looking for people to place into promos. Once someone makes it to our air they become an honorary "Street Star." Our Street Starz promos air every half hour on the CW introducing shows like Gossip Girl, the Simpsons, Family Guy and Smallville.

The CW Podsquad is always looking for events to cover, so if you've got a suggestion for a street fair, concert or special event, send an email to podsquad@kbcwtv.com.  To chase down the Podsquad in action, check the events listing and be on the look out for the green shirts.

The CW Podsquad is a production intensive internship program. Podsquad members cover a wide variety of local events around the Bay Area, planning, producing, shooting and editing a different field project every week. This internship also involves work at the station: pre-producing, writing, maintaining the website and assisting staff producers and designers.

Think you've got what it takes?  You must be enrolled, and eligible for school credit.  Three slots open up every semester, so send a cover letter, resume, and samples of writing or video production links to:  podsquad@kbcwtv.com
